Mobile Marketer, the news leader in mobile marketing, media and commerce, released its annual Mobile Women to Watch 2016 award that honors 25 women executives from the United States and Canada who are making a difference in mobile advertising, marketing and media in 2016. The list includes women from Staples, The Washington Post, MasterCard, Clorox, Forbes, Heineken and more.

This year, Atlanta executives Samara Tuchband from The Home Depot and Sarah Woodward from stable|kernel are two of the 25 women bestowed with this honor. Both women actively push their organizations to the forefront of their industries through mobile, while also bringing national visibility to Atlanta’s growing reputation for mobile excellence.

“A key characteristic of a Mobile Women to Watch honoree is her willingness to push the envelope,” said Mickey Alam Khan, editor-in-chief of Mobile Marketer, New York.

Tuchband is the General Manager of Online Merchandising for The Home Depot and was a part of the product team that delivered the Home Depot Project Color app that allowed consumers to virtually play around with paint colors to see how it would look on walls in their own home. This app was one of her proudest achievements in her career. One of her priorities for 2016 includes making an impact: driving speed and scale across the company’s product portfolio.
