Senior Software Sales Executive

Stable Kernel is a custom software and technology firm based in Atlanta, GA. Our in-house product teams partner with Fortune 500s to navigate the unknown – that space between an identified problem and a future-focused solution. We strategize, architect, design, develop and commercialize custom software that builds our clients’ businesses. 

We are seeking a Sr. Sales Executive as our next hunter to continue our phenomenal, award-winning growth. If you have proven experience with large, complex sales cycles across multiple enterprise verticals for custom software engineering projects and are interested in winning net new business, this position may be the perfect next step in your career.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in a business development role at a professional services organization, responsible for engaging and developing net new logos across multiple verticals.
  • Exceptional interpersonal communication skills that lead to a foundation of trust, regardless of audience.
  • Strategy prowess – skilled at listening to and speaking with executives at Fortune 1000 clients. We’re counting on you to understand their business, project strategies, and goals to quickly assess and shape their needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead all related sales activities as a key influencer; previous accountability for peer-level client relationships at the VP, SVP, and C-level.
  • Existing relationships within the marketplace for accelerated project identification and engagement.
  • History managing client portfolio with cumulative annual revenues of $2M+ per client and a track record of growth within those clients.
  • A curiosity for new technologies relative to Stable Kernel solutions offerings and a passion for staying current with trends that affect the custom software ecosystem.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage a strategic sales plan that includes all activities for quota attainment.
  • Manage network, relationships and net new targets to maximize revenue opportunities.
  • Analyze the financial position and challenges of prospects to determine the sales approach.
  • Understand market and business drivers to collaborate with clients’ internal stakeholders to overcome potential impediments.
  • Use a consultative sales approach related to sales execution, new pipeline development, and expansion of opportunities.
  • Have a thorough understanding of Stable Kernel’s capabilities and how they can bring value to our clients.
  • Maintain and document appropriate sales development activity to ensure healthy pipeline management.
  • Travel as required to meet and engage with clients and customers.

Required Skills:

  • Established skills as a new business hunter with multiple years of Enterprise Software Services experience, selling across multiple verticals.
  • Previous success with complex sales involving multiple decision makers and sales cycles of 3 to 18 months.
  • Ability to present compellingly across mediums.
  • Ability to negotiate complex deals.
  • Ability to articulate value proposition and ROI.
  • Proven record of building and managing a sales pipeline and achieving/exceeding quota.
  • An understanding of technology solutions across a broad array of capabilities, including but not limited to:
  • Software Architecture and Engineering
  • IoT, Data and Analytics
  • Product Development, Deployment, and Delivery
  • Management Consulting / Strategic Consulting Services

A Bit More Info:

Minimum Base Salary: $120,000

Commission Plan with Minimum OTE: $300,000
