Our relationship with Rheem first began in 2013 when its marketing team approached us to create the EcoNet™ mobile app for iOS and Android. The company wanted to provide added value to its existing EcoNet™ customers by giving them real-time monitoring and control of their home energy products from a mobile device.
We developed a mobile solution that delivered the desired results for homeowners. Due to the success of our first engagement, we’ve been tasked with designing new features and developing new products for the company. As we gained greater access to their entire system over time, we discovered and pinpointed some overarching challenges with the technology stack that impacted the performance of the EcoNet™ platform. Then, we were able to provide in-depth, industry-leading solutions to improve their system.
During our long-term partnership with Rheem, we’ve had the opportunity to get to know the company on a much deeper level. We can only truly understand a company’s business when we work with them for an extended period of time and gain insight into their business goals, challenges and the needs of their customers. We demonstrated our value to Rheem early and often, but it took partnering on several projects over the course of three years to establish a relationship built on trust and respect. As we got to know the company on a deeper level, its trust in our capabilities and the quality of our work grew. We became Rheem’s internal product team.
We’ve greatly enjoyed gaining exposure to the innermost workings of Rheem’s manufacturing industry. We’ve uncovered incredible insight into its business, a greater respect for the Rheem team and how they operate and a deeper understanding of the complex nature of their work. Through this understanding, we’ve uncovered patterns that we can now apply to work with other industries as well as future work with Rheem.
