Flexible Work Environment

Because we believe teams work best when they are constantly collaborating, our Atlanta staff spends the majority of our time together at our beautiful BeltLine office. However, we know being in the office each day isn’t a prerequisite for doing great work, so we have a flexible work policy in place, too.

Introduce Yourself

We’re excited to learn more about you! We require resumes and encourage cover letters as a way to get to know you, but if there’s more you want to share with us (i.e.: GitHub project, LinkedIn profile, your award-winning 3rd grade art project, etc.), please do!  If your experience aligns with our needs, one of our Hiring Coordinators will invite you to the next stage of our hiring process.

Connect with the People & Culture Team

Someone from our  People & Culture team will schedule a phone call with you to discuss our company, departments, culture, benefits, and why we think Stable Kernel is a great place to grow your career. Come with any general questions you have. We’ll also give you details about your next interview so that you know what to expect and can be well prepared.

Interview with a Hiring Manager

Now that we have a general feel for each other, it’s time to meet with a member from your prospective department. Get ready to share specifics about your skill set, background, and aspirations. You’ll learn a bit more about the department, too.

Complete a Skills Assessment

It’s time to show off your problem-solving skills and get a feel for what real work at Stable Kernel is like by completing a skills assessment. Our skills assessments vary by department, but all are based on situations typical of your potential future role with us. 

You will either have a discussion-based panel interview or a take-home assignment to complete at your own pace. Once you complete your take-home assignment, you’ll have a 1:1 interview with the Hiring Manager to review your work, ask questions, and talk through the experience.

 

Learn Your CliftonStrengths and Meet the C-Suite

The most engaging work happens when one’s work is aligned with their natural strengths. If chosen to advance to our final stage, you’ll be invited to take a CliftonStrengths assessment to uncover your strengths and how they can be leveraged at Stable Kernel. 

Having received the endorsement of a hiring manager, your final interview will be with members of our Executive Leadership Team (ELT). Despite being an award-winning company that works with Fortune 1000 brands, we’re still small enough to know every employee’s name (and the names of their kids, pets, alma maters, and favorite ice cream flavor). Your conversation with the ELT will touch on your CliftonStrengths, the company’s history, strategic direction, and the potential you bring in helping us continue to build something we’re all proud of.

Earn an Offer Letter

Once we’re confident that you’ve got the skills and disposition to thrive at Stable Kernel, we’ll extend a comprehensive Offer Kit to you. Upon your acceptance, our adventure together begins!

Before your first day, you’ll be introduced to your Welcome Buddy, who is eager to help you thrive in your new role. They will be your initial point of contact on Day 1, introduce you to our onboarding program, and be a supportive colleague throughout your time with us.
